Gregory Burd

I am a senior software engineer with 30 years of experience and a focus on back-end development. My focus has been on databases (relational, document, key/value, etc.), core data storage engines (Berkeley DB, LMDB, Bitcask, LevelDB, etc.), and distributed systems (Riak, Dynamo, etc.). I have a history of contributions to open source (Berkeley DB, OpenLDAP, FreeBSD, etc.) and an understanding of intellectual property laws, open source licensing, and community building. I also enjoy DevOps (Terraform, etc.). In addition, I appreciate the business side of software delivery as a product team or as a service. I can lead a team or participate as an individual contributor.
