PG.CENTER connects PostgreSQL documentation, reference, and ecosystem knowledge. Maintained by Pigsty.

About PG.CENTER

PG.CENTER connects PostgreSQL documentation, versioned reference knowledge, and the extension ecosystem. It is maintained by the Pigsty team and Ruohang Feng.

The site defaults to English. Our goal is a multilingual knowledge base where you can find a definition, compare versions, trace its source, and discover related tools. Chinese documentation is available on PGSQL.CC.

What you can explore

Sources and licenses

PostgreSQL documentation and upstream website content are authored by the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. They are reproduced under the PostgreSQL License, with the original copyright and license notices retained.

Reference definitions are extracted from specific editions of the English manuals. Each entry links to its source. Version comparisons, measured metadata, and editorial or diagnostic material are identified separately. A historical observation applies to the version and environment recorded with it.

Extension metadata comes from PGEXT. Ecosystem documentation, news articles, blog posts, and product names remain attributed to their respective authors and projects. Headline links take you to the original publisher.

This website is based on the open-source postgres/pgweb project and the Pigsty fork. Its original website code uses the PostgreSQL License.

Project identity

PG.CENTER is an independent Pigsty project. It is not operated by the PostgreSQL Global Development Group or the PostgreSQL Community Association. PostgreSQL and the elephant logo belong to their respective trademark owners; see the PostgreSQL trademark policy.

Corrections and contributions

Use website feedback for reader problems, extracted reference errors, and feature requests. For a problem in the original PostgreSQL documentation, use the source link and correction form on the manual page. Chinese translation corrections belong in pgsty/pgdoc.
